Let’s Move! On your Mark, Get Set, Go

Every year I commit to running a race. This helps me to stay in shape and work out continuously to prepare for the race. I will be running a half marathon for the first time. I usually run 5 K’s. Training and race day is my time to connect with nature and think about future goals in different areas of life. How do you stay committed to living a healthy? One other trick that keeps me on track is dedicating doctor’s visits to a certain month. For example, September is primary care month. This is extremely helpful if you have to manage your health and the health of those you love. Take time out to schedule important appointment through out the year so your can stay on track.
